The Flys

Biography

The beginnings of Hollywood-based rockers the Flys lay down in informal jam sessions between eventual associates James Publication (bass), Peter Perdichizzi (guitar), Adam Paskowitz (vocals), and Nicky Lucero (drums). Ultimately another vocalist/rapper, Joshua Paskowitz, became a member of, and the music group found themselves authorized to Trauma Information. By merging alt-rock and post-grunge with vintage noises, the Flys got an even more unique approach compared to the majority of additional late-’90s alternative rings. Before the August 1998 launch of the debut album, Vacation Man, the music group had already made an appearance for the soundtrack for the film Troubling Behavior and performed in the Bethel/Woodstock site for the A Trip to the Garden display. The Flys’ sophomore recording, Outta My Method, which presented the hit solitary “Losin’ It,” adopted in the springtime of 2000, but by 2002 the music group had opted on indefinite hiatus.
