The Flames

As music artists, the Flames broke the mold in nearly every way. Of East Indian removal, these were the just non-African spirit group carrying out in South Africa; they resided in Durban, not really Jo-burg; documented albums, instead of trying the singles marketplace; and they protected pre-existing songs instead of writing their personal material. Regardless, or simply because, of the unorthodoxy, these were wildly effective. Two group people subsequently emigrated towards the Claims where they became a member of the Beach Kids in 1972.
