Biography
The Firehouse Five As well as Two began as an amateur Dixieland band mostly made up of cartoon animators through the Disney Studios. Their spontaneous periods (led by trombonist Ward Kimball) had been so successful which they began recording once and for all Period Jazz in 1949 and quickly became a favorite attraction, while by no means quitting their day careers. Furthermore to vibrant Dixieland ensembles and solos, the music group often allow off a siren throughout their hotter choruses and weren’t timid to inject their music with a wholesome dose of laughter. They recorded frequently for Good Period Jazz during 1949-1960 with extra albums slice in 1962, 1964, and 1969. Furthermore to Kimball, the music group included trumpeter Johnny Lucas (for the very first program), cornetist Danny Alguire, clarinetist Clarke Mallory, and, from 1960 on, George Probert on soprano and clarinet.
