The Fauns

Bristol, England’s expansive shoegaze quintet Fauns features vocalist Alison Garner (also a collaborator of post-dubstep manufacturer Hyetal), guitarists Lee Woods, Elliot Guise, and Michael Savage, and drummer Tom Adams. The group released its 2009 self-titled debut alone Laser beam Ghost Recordings label; as the record didn’t possess a publicity advertising campaign behind it, person to person resulted in it offering 5,000 copies. Two of Fauns’ supporters included 6Music DJ Steve Lamacq, who championed the music group on his present, and composer Clint Mansell, who remixed the melody “Delicate” right into a limited-edition Record Shop Day one. The group agreed upon to Invada Information and caused companies Jim Barr and Tim Allen on its second record, Lights, which found its way to past due 2013. Invada reissued Fauns in middle-2014.
