The Family Crest

Spearheaded by frontman and leader Liam McCormick, the San Francisco-based orchestral indie rock and roll outfit the Family Crest originally started as an test in trying for connecting a music community. Seeking to record with whoever wished to become a part of the task, McCormick, along with co-founder John Seeterlin, reached out through flyers, close friends, and the web, documenting music with anyone who responded and piecing it jointly to make the band’s debut EP, 2010’s Music in the Valley Below. Using the task beginning to get interest, McCormick and Seeterlin made a decision to try to make their test right into a full-fledged music group. Though a huge selection of music artists possess performed with them, the Family members Crest includes a primary of seven people, composed of McCormick and Seeterlin, aswell as flutist Laura Bergmann, drummer Charlie Giesige, tenor trombone participant George Samaa, violinist Owen Sutter, and cellist Charly Akert. Having a lineup set up, the music group adopted up with another album, The Town, in 2012. Their crowd-funded third recording, Under the Brine, found its way to 2014, releasing the music group onto the Billboard Heatseekers graph in the quantity 16 slot.
