Biography

In 1965 and 1966, the Eye released a clutch of singles that endure the Who’s work in the same era within their mixture of extremely innovative guitar reviews/distortion and anthemic mod songwriting. “Once the Evening Falls,” “The Immediate Pleasure,” “I’m Rowed Out,” “You’re AN EXCESSIVE AMOUNT OF,” as well as the dried out “My Era” satire “My Degeneration” are revered extremely by United kingdom Invasion enthusiasts. The bursts of digital mayhem had been quite advanced for enough time, though just like the Who that they had hooks and harmonies to counterpoint the madness. They weren’t as unforgettable because the Who and didn’t strategy commercial success. Following a much softer 4th one and an ill-conceived record of Rolling Rocks covers (documented beneath the name the Pupils), the group disbanded.
