THE EXCESS Glenns were an underground story for almost a decade before their album saw the light of day time. A cooperation between Nothing Colored Blue’s Franklin Bruno as well as the Hill Goats’ John Darnielle, the duo documented many singles and compilation monitors in the first ’90s, then vanished entirely while focusing on their various other tasks. As their specific popularity grew, both continued to interact when given the opportunity, and the music that would ultimately appear on FIGHTING TECHINQUES Weekend begun to consider shape. The purpose was not to keep the project, however when the two performed a secret display on the 2000 SAN FRANCISCO BAY AREA Noise Pop Celebration, a audience of 200 appeared. With people to arrive from so far as NEW YORK specifically to start to see the Extra Glenns, they understood that they need to continue their initiatives. The two began to record from then on point, getting jointly in SAN FRANCISCO BAY AREA until January of 2002, when the record was finally released. This year 2010, the duo inked a cope with Merge, transformed its name to the excess Zoom lens, and released a fresh collection of primary material known as Undercard.
