The Executives


This six-piece band had an instant rise being a live act in Sydney, Australia, in 1966. Featuring two great vocalists in Carole Ruler and Gino Cunico, and supported by four music artists who could play 30 different equipment between them, these were capable of produce a advanced, varied pop audio. Between 1967 and 1968 they documented eight singles and three albums. Originally their established was composed completely of cover variations, like the strike singles ‘My Target Is To Make sure you You’, ‘Sit down Down I BELIEVE I REALLY LIKE You’ and ‘Windy Time’, but self-penned quantities had been slowly presented. In 1969, the music group moved to the united states and spent per year composing new materials in California at Kama Sutra/ Buddah Information. The name was transformed to Inner Feeling, appropriate for the ‘flower-power’ period, but the music group faded. Guitarist Ray Burton, and Cunico released an unsuccessful joint record; Cunico pursuing with two even more obscure albums. Burton penned ‘I Am Girl’ for fellow Australian expatriate Helen Reddy, and returned home to become listed on Ayers Rock and roll before getting into a solo profession. Ruler and fellow Professionals member, hubby Brian formed a fresh group, Changeover. Carole King highlighted within the stage play Nuclear and its own record of 1972, resulting in a re-formation from the Professionals with herself and many other members in the show’s ensemble. Three singles for Polydor Information within the mid-70s had been unsuccessful however the music group soldiered on for many more years.
