Carrying out a stint as bassist in angular emo-rock trio the Convocation Of…, Baltimore indigenous Man Blakeslee relocated to Chicago in the first 2000s and started performing solo beneath the name Entry. Blakeslee’s somber however trippy acoustic music quickly arrived him a normal place at tastemaking dive club the Hideout, where his noises caught the hearing from the Tiger Design label.
