A trio of sisters with a solid gospel foundation, the Feelings (located in Chicago) were among the leading feminine R&B acts from the ’70s. Lead vocalist Sheila Hutchinson and her sisters Wanda and Jeanette had been only teenagers if they crashed the spirit graphs in 1969 using the interesting “THEREFORE I Can Like You,” however they sang gospel as kids and liked secular popularity locally before putting your signature on with Memphis-based Volt and dealing with makers Isaac Hayes and David Porter. When Stax folded in 1975, the group installed with Maurice White colored of Earth, Wind flow & Fire, a link that resulted in the main pop/R&B strike “Greatest of My Like” in 1977. 2 yrs after Greatest of My Like, Maurice White as well as the Feelings collaborated on “Boogie Wonderland,” that was both lots two R&B and quantity six pop strike. They released three even more albums on White’s ARC label from 1979 to 1981, but were not able to duplicate their previously success. They shifted to the Crimson label for the 1984 LP Sincerely, including the solitary “EVERYTHING Come in Period.” They released three additional singles through the album, but non-e made much effect, though each one charted. Then they authorized with Motown, but released only one recording, If I Just Knew. Sheila Hutchinson was a presented vocalist on Garry Glenn’s “Feels Great to FEEL GREAT” in 1987. Pam and Jeanette Hutchinson do history vocals on Helen Baylor’s gospel music “THERE IS NO Greater Appreciate” in 1990. Wanda Hutchinson and Jeanette sang on the planet, Breeze & Fire’s Traditions in 1990.
