The sparks that fired the fantastic conflagration of techno in Detroit were in no small part supplied by the Electrifying Mojo, a past due-’70s and early-’80s DJ who managed to get his occupation to “save Detroit as well as the world from your musical blahs.” Given birth to and elevated in Little Rock and roll, Arkansas, he became a member of the Air Pressure and started to DJ at his foundation in the Philippines. When he came back towards the U.S., Mojo worked well a couple of years in radio before making a decision to enter legislation school in the University or college of Michigan.
