Prolific multi-instrumentalists/producers Adrian Quesada (Brownout, Ocote Spirit Noises, Grupo Fantasma) and Shawn Lee (TABLE TENNIS Orchestra, the Superimposers) shaped the Electric powered Peanut Butter Organization after meeting in the South by Southwest music festival in Austin this year 2010. U.K. citizen Lee and Austinite Quesada collaborated via e-mail, melding retro-funk and psychedelic rock and roll influences having a Latin taste, particularly affected by bands such as for example Los Ángeles Negros and Un Chicano.
