The Elders


Celtic rock-band the Elders were shaped in Kansas City, MO, by singer/percussionist Ian Byrne, a indigenous of County Wicklow, Ireland, alongside Us citizens Norm Dahlor (bass, banjo, guitar, vocals), Brent Hoad (violin, mandolin, keyboards, vocals), Steve Phillips (guitar, mandolin, vocals), and Brett Gibson (accordion). Phillips was a previous person in the Rainmakers, which experienced made many major-label albums, but every one of the musicians had been middle-aged veterans of several previous groups, therefore the name the Elders. They released their self-titled debut record independently Pub Shade label in 2000. Drummer/percussionist Tommy Sutherland became a member of in August 2002. American Wake implemented on Apr 6, 2004, and Move It on Down a season later. Live on the Gem premiered simultaneously being a Dvd movie and Compact disc on Oct 11, 2005. Joe Miquelon (keyboards, saxophone) became a member of the music group for another album, Race the Tide, released January 30, 2007.
