The Echo Falls

The SAN FRANCISCO BAY AREA Bay Area acoustic trio the Echo Falls was formed in 2003 by singer/songwriter/guitarist Alex Mandel along with his childhood friend, drummer/vibraphonist David Brandt, and a college friend from Oberlin, double-bass player David Arend. (Arend also went to Juilliard.) Mandel have been a member from the Fingertips, who released three albums, and he managed a day work scoring short movies for the Pixar cartoon film studio, together with your Friend the Rat, included on the Dvd and blu-ray from the full-length feature Ratatouille. The Echo Falls produced their live debut in the Resort Utah in SAN FRANCISCO BAY AREA in 2006, after that turned to documenting their self-titled debut recording, that was released independently Vineland Information label on November 17, 2009.
