The Dudley Corporation

The Dudley Company, an indie pop trio from Dublin, Ireland, includes Dudley (guitar and vocals), Joss (drums, accordian, vocals), and Pip (bass). The group had taken formation in 2000 after Joss made a decision to help Dudley with some music he had created; Pip became a member of in quickly thereafter. The trio produced their debut in November of 2000 through a divide one with Joan of Arse on Jonathon Whiskey. 90 days later, another divide single (this time around with Paul O’Reilly) implemented on Dublin’s Scientific Laboratories imprint. The Morning hours After, a three-song one of their very own, premiered on Obelisk in August. All this resulted in the full-length The Depressed World from the Dudley Company (Scientific Laboratories once again), which strike shops close to the end of 2001. Documented on the famed Chemikal Underground studio room, members from the Delgados added horn and cello function.
