The Dragsters

The Dragsters were a studio construct through the peak many years of the hot rod and browse music boom, releasing an album called Pull Town in 1964 on Wing Information, and later on that same year, Mercury Information released it as Hey Small Cobra – Pull City and Various other Favorites. The record was mostly addresses of latest car strikes, and included at least half instrumentals, but at least one monitor, “Crazy Cobra,” sticks out as something particular. The Dragsters had been most likely made by Mike Curb and Nick Venet, who also created the Buddies and various other similar groupings (frequently using the same program players) for Mercury Wing.
