The Drags


Albuquerque, NM garage area punks the Drags were led by vocalist/guitarist CJ Pretzel and bassist Lorca Shalom, who have previously teamed within the Swizzle Sticks. Completing the line-up with drummer Keith, the group debuted using the one “I love to Pass away, ” accompanied by seven-inches for clear (“Anxiousness”) and Rat Town (“REALLY WORTH DISCUSSING”). In 1995, the Drags arrived at Estrus release a an EP, Dragsploitation…Today!, implemented in 1997 with the full-length Prevent Stone. Keith still left the group a season later on; 1999’s 45 X 3 gathered out-of-print and unreleased materials from his Drags tenure. Established Right Suit to Blow TIDY UP adopted in early 2000.
