The Donkeys

Acquiring their cues from rings like Pavement, the Grateful Dead, and Crosby, Stills, Nash & Young, the Donkeys create melodic country-rock songs influenced by their state’s the sunshine and leisurely pace. High school close friends Timothy DeNardo, Anthony Lukens, and Sam Sprague 1st played collectively as teens, and Jessie Gulati became a member of the second option two music artists in a music group called the Moon and Sixpence immediately after graduation. The music artists eventually banded collectively because the Donkeys, merging a melodic basis with components of traditional rock, nation, and power pop. The group agreed upon with Antenna Plantation Records and released a self-titled debut in 2004. Departing Antenna Farm many years afterwards, the Donkeys ultimately settled using the Texas-based Deceased Oceans before issuing their 2008 follow-up, Living on the other hand. Delivered with Stripes came three years afterwards, downplaying the band’s twangy previous and only laid-back pop tracks. Fourth album Trip the Black Influx surfaced in 2014, its breezy Pacific Sea pop vibrations providing additional tributes to sunlight and surreality of their house condition of California. Dealing with veteran manufacturer Thom Monahan (Devendra Banhart, Vetiver), the Donkeys documented Midnight Hands for an early on 2016 release time.
