The Domino Kings

Biography

Missouri group the Domino Kings possess built their profession on a basis of traditional-minded honky tonk and rockabilly. Furthermore to covering tunes by heroes such as for example Faron Teen, Merle Haggard, and Buck Owens, the group creates its neo-traditionalist music. The Domino Kings contain Springfield, MO, natives Steve Newman (electric guitar, vocals), Brian Capps (bass fiddle, vocals), and Les Gallier (drums). The associates of the group had been mixed up in Springfield and Tulsa music moments for quite some time before coming jointly. The Domino Kings’ initial record, 1999’s Lonesome Highway, was large over the rockabilly impact. Lifestyle & 20, their debut record for Slewfoot Information, arrived in 2000 and highlighted a more traditional country approach. THE TRUNK of YOUR BRAIN implemented in 2002, locating the group once more teaming up with manufacturer Lou Whitney (the Skeletons). The Whitney/Domino Kings romantic relationship continuing with 2005’s Some type of Indication, the group’s initial release over the rootsy Hightone label.

#Quote
1 "There was a scene cut out of Big Fat Liar (2002) where I had to wear a dress. This may sound kind of weird, but I really enjoyed shooting that scene".
2 Some kids are always getting into trouble or doing stuff, and I stay away from those types. I know I am no better than anyone else in this world. I'm just an actor, that's nothing special. But I'm not into anything bad. Just blackjack.
3 [about Australia] I love it! It's awesome. I want to move here! I've just been promoting Big Fat Liar (2002) and hoping it's going to go really good. Malcolm in the Middle (2000) is doing really well here. I haven't been able to do a lot of stuff and I haven't seen that much though.
4 Yeah, I like cars and basketball. But you know what I like more? Bananas.
5 Acting classes, I guess, are good and I would like to maybe sometime take one. But I would feel like I was learning someone else's technique. I like mine.
6 [when he received news of his Emmy nomination] "I am keeping with tradition today. After I learned of my Golden Globe nomination, I went to the dentist, so today, let's make it the orthodontist."
