Biography

A US gospel octet who comprise four performers along with a four-piece music group, the Dixie Melody Children formed in Cincinnati in 1960. Ed O’Neal (bass), Henry Daniels (baritone), David Kimbrell (business lead) and Jamey Ragle (initial tenor) will be the singing area of the group, associated with Greg Simpkins (piano), Allen O’Neal (electric guitar), Reb Lancaster (bass) and Ron Well (metal guitar). Appearing frequently at cathedral and community gatherings, they eventually appeared on several regional radio and tv programmes in addition to issuing a series of albums because of their regional record label, QCA Information.
