Among the best jazz-rock fusion ensembles ever, the Dixie Dregs combined virtuoso technique with eclecticism and a feeling of laughter and spirit too often without similar tasks. Guitarist Steve Morse and bassist Andy Western world performed jointly as high-school learners in Augusta, GA, in a typical rock band known as Dixie Grit. When Morse was expelled from college for refusing to trim his locks, he enrolled on the School of Miami College of Music, where he fulfilled violinist Allen Sloan, who acquired used the Miami Philharmonic, and drummer Fishing rod Morgenstein. The three made a decision to type a music group, and Morse confident West to come quickly to Miami and sign up for. The Dixie Dregs finished their lineup with keyboardist Steve Davidowski. Bring ‘Em Back again Alive was culled in the group’s tour, and 1994’s BACK TO WHERE IT STARTED was also well received. California Screamin’ implemented in early 2000.
