The Districts

The Districts certainly are a four-piece indie rock-band from the tiny town of Lititz, Pennsylvania. The group created in ’09 2009 while users Rob Grote, Tag Larson, Connor Jacobus, and Braden Lawrence had been all still in senior high school. The prolific youthful music group released its initial EP, Kitchen Music, in 2011 accompanied by Phone, its debut full-length, the next calendar year. The Districts’ second EP, the greater acoustic-leaning WHEN YOU Had been in Honesdale, premiered in past due 2012 as well as the music group continued to execute regionally. Their mixture of jangly indie Americana and blues-inspired rock and roll caught the interest of Mississippi’s Unwanted fat Possum Information, which agreed upon the Districts in 2013. In January 2014 Body fat Possum released the band’s self-titled third EP, which included three remastered music from calling record along with two recently recorded tracks. Simply over a calendar year afterwards, the Districts came back using their second record, A Flourish and a Ruin, which proclaimed the debut of guitarist Pat Cassidy — Larson opted to visit university — and was made by John Congleton.
