The Dimes

Indie pop quartet the Dimes was shaped in Portland, OR, following singer/songwriter/guitarist Johnny Clay met another associates, guitarist Pierre Kaiser, bassist Ryan Johnston, and drummer Jake Rahner, in 2002. While executing extensively within their geographic area, the Dimes self-released a six-song self-titled debut EP in 2003, accompanied by another, Atlanta, in 2005. They following released four-song EP The Long Arm Arrived Down on January 15, 2007. Their 1st full-length Compact disc, The Silent Era, had songs predicated on newspapers articles through the Depression era discovered by Kaiser beneath the flooring of his 1908 house while he was renovating it. The Dimes started selling the recording at displays on August 25, 2007. Regional label Family pet Marmoset Records selected it up for nationwide retail release beginning on Dec 11, 2007.
