The Delgado Brothers

Though they arrived of the same East L.A. picture mainly because Los Lobos and Un Chicano, the Delgado Brothers — frontman Joe, bassist Bob, and drummer Steve with key pad participant Billy Steinway — forsake Hispanic motivation generally, relying rather on blues/R&B and nice vocal harmonies. Authorized to the Hightone label, the group caused suppliers Bruce Bromberg and Dennis Walker (Robert Cray), and released The Delgado Brothers in 1987. After laying lower in the first area of the ’90s, the Delgado Brothers re-formed in the urging of John “Juke” Logan. Percussionist Ray Solis was put into circular out their Latin defeat and R&B blend. “Let’s REUNITE” around the Mocombo label brought the Delgados back again to the fold, where they continue steadily to play along the West Coastline.
