The Del-Royals

The Del-Royals were among numerous vocal groups in New Orleans through the later ’50s and early ’60s, and were fortunate to obtain signed to Minit Information. Their line-up highlighted Willie Harper, who became a digital fixure on Minit’s documenting sessions, providing support vocals to many acts, in addition to recording many singles by himself. Their audio was jaunty and filled up with robust laughter–“Generally Naggin'” was an excellent representative track.
