The Defiants

The Defiants are no strangers towards the hard rock scene. Shaped in 2015 by vocalist Paul Laine, bassist/guitarist/keyboardist Bruno Ravel, and guitarist Rob Marcello — previous bandmates in locks metal band Risk Risk — the Defiants brought the best arena-rock sound from the ’80s and early ’90s in to the aughts. The reunited trio shaped the new task on the urging of their label mind and, attracting Truck Romaine on drums, they documented their self-titled debut, that was also made by Ravel. Released in Apr 2016 on Frontiers Information, The Defiants included melodic hard rock and roll anthems filled with electric guitar solos and singalongs similar to the stadium-packing ’80s design popularized by rings like Trip, Bon Jovi, and their very own previous band, Risk Danger.
