The Deep

Documents is sketchy upon this Philadelphia group, but apparently these were masterminded by a single Rusty Evans and included David Bromberg within an unspecified function. Based on the skimpy liner records, their recording was the consequence of wee-hours freakout classes at Cameo-Parkway studios. They required a middle floor between the Seed products, the 13th Ground Elevators, and Kim Fowley having a thinly created, goofy psychedelia which tomfoolery abounded. Though essentially a silly workout, the group experienced their interesting occasions, and certainly experienced a greater feeling of melody than either Kim Fowley or the Seed products.
