The Dearhunters

The 1998 formation from the Dearhunters brought Sydney, Australia another dose of country soaked pop. With previous Clouds guitarist Jodi Phillis and ex-Verys bassist Tim Oxley offering the dual male-female vocal harmonies, Greg Hitchcock (electric guitar) and Raph Whittingham (drums) finished the musical bundle of hauntingly, bittersweet ballads. After debuting using a divide EP using the Hired Weapons in 1999, Dave Aston changed Whittingham on drums following the release from the Dearhunters initial full-length BURGANDY OR MERLOT WINE & Blue.
