The ’80s rock-band the Cruzados contains members Tito Larriva (lead vocals and guitar), Tony Marsico (bass and vocals), Steven Hufsteter (guitar), and Chalo Quintana (drums), and even though they were frequently picked as “another big thing” by both their music peers and music critics, the group would remain jointly for only a set of albums. Throughout a short four-year period, the Cruzados opened up shows for famous brands Fleetwood Macintosh, INXS, and Stevie Ray Vaughan, in addition to appearing at Plantation Aid (performing “This Land is certainly Your Property,” with such renowned performers as Neil Teen and Arlo Guthrie). Both albums the fact that quartet released for the Arista label, 1985’s self-titled debut and 1987’s AT NIGHT, received compliment from famous brands Bob Dylan, John Fogerty, David Byrne, Brian Setzer, and Billy Joel, but a vacation to superstardom wasn’t within the credit cards for the group, because they divide before another album could possibly be set up. In 2001, a compilation entitled Unreleased Early Recordings was released via the Cruzados’ internet site, including a melody (“Rising Sunlight”) that highlighted Bob Dylan on harmonica.
