The Crayonettes

Quirky, genre-bending kids’s music duo the Crayonettes was created in Newcastle, Britain by two mothers who were sick and tired of all the crimson dinosaur jams and cookie cutter sing-alongs that saturated the marketplace. Mercury Prize-nominated vocalist/songwriter Kathryn Williams and Anna Spencer (a previous person in Newcastle punk clothing Delicate Vomit), released their debut record beneath the Crayonettes moniker, Playing Out:Tracks for Kids and Robots, this year 2010.
