Biography
The Cover Young ladies, formed in 1986, was the project of songwriter/producer Andy “Panda” Tripoli and music promoter Sal Abbatiello. THE BRAND NEW York-based dance-pop group highlighted a revolving lineup of vocalists that started with Caroline Jackson, Louise “Angel” Sabater, and Sunlight Wright. The trio got off to some hot begin. Five from the eight music from Present Me, their 1987 debut record, reached one or more Billboard singles graph. “Due to You” and “Guarantee Me,” both most widely used A-sides, reached the very best 40 from the Sizzling hot 100. By enough time from the group’s 1989 follow-up record We Can’t FAIL, Wright was changed by Margo Urban. This lineup have scored lots eight pop strike using the album’s name monitor. For the 1992 discharge Here IT REALLY IS, Urban and Sabater had been changed by Evelyn Escalera and Michelle Valentine, plus they scored a high 10 pop strike using a cover of Rose Royce’s “Wishing on the Superstar.” Satisfy, released in 1996, included none of the initial vocalists. Even though group continued to execute and made periodic guest looks, the Cover Women didn’t launch another recording. The lineup frequently transformed, but at one stage during the middle-2010s, all of the original members had been reunited.
