The Cornell Hurd Band

b. Daniel Cornell Howard, 1952, San José, California, USA, even though some sources claim that Hurd was created in 1949 in Honolulu, Hawaii. In 1968 guitarist Hurd and bass participant Frank Roeber created a four-piece music group to try out for fellow students in Cupertino, California. After one general public performance, the music group folded but reappeared just a little later on, now called the Ragg Brothers, with Hurd, Roeber, Cornell’s sibling Drew Hurd (harmonica), Joel Crawford (vocals), and Kim Muscatel (business lead acoustic guitar). The group worked well sporadically, playing some initial material amid addresses of western golf swing music. By 1971 Hurd and Roeber experienced relocated to Berkeley, California, where they created the Un Rancho Cowboys. With them with this music group had been Gary Dulleck (piano), Lyle Pratt (lead acoustic guitar), and Kim Winn (drums).
