The Coral Sea

West Coastline indie rock and roll collective the Coral Ocean mixes the lush, orchestral part of ’60s pop with the present day sensibilities of neo-psychedelic clothes want Mercury Rev, Sparklehorse, and Key Machines. Created in Santa Barbara, CA, round the skills of vocalist/songwriter/multi-instrumentalist Rey Villalobos, guitarist Duncan Wright, bass participant Wayne Garza, and drummer Matt Talmage, their debut documenting, Volcano and Center, was backed by way of a traditional string quartet and released through Crimson Clover Information in summer time 2006.
