The Connection

Providing a lively and tuneful fusion of rock and roll & move and vintage force pop informed with the British Invasion and garage area rock sounds from the mid-’60s, the bond were shaped in 2011 by two music devotees from Portsmouth, New Hampshire, Geoff Palmer and Brad Marino, both of whom performed guitar and sang. Palmer got previously used the Queers, the Nobodys, as well as the Guts, while Marino was an associate of Strategy to use. After discovering that they had equivalent musical concepts, Palmer and Marino started writing songs jointly and slice the initial Connection demonstration before they come up with a complete lineup, using drums loops to replace their absent drummer. The first genuine lineup of the bond highlighted Marino on lead vocals and tempo electric guitar, Palmer on lead electric guitar and support vocals, Andy Casey on bass, and Chris Faulkner on drums. In nov 2011, the bond released their initial EP, New England’s Newest Hitmakers, using a Xmas one. In 2012, Andy Casey still left the group and was changed by bassist and support vocalist Bobby Davis; Chris Faulkner also slipped from the lineup, and Zack Sprague became the Connection’s brand-new drummer, with Rick Orcutt and Craig Sala sometimes sitting down in when Sprague isn’t obtainable. In March 2012, the bond released another EP, 7 Evenings to Rock, including visitor keyboardist Kris “Fingertips” Rodgers, who soon turn into a full person in the group. The next Connection EP also garnered airplay on Small Steven Vehicle Zandt’s Underground Garage area radio show, where in fact the name tune gained the every week “Coolest Track in the Globe” prize; Vehicle Zandt would become an outspoken lover of the group, declaring “THE BOND gets it.” A music group not afraid to remain busy, the bond released six singles and EPs in 2012 and 2013, and opened up for the Flamin’ Groovies, the Muffs, the true Kids, and Tag Lindsay prior to the group decreased their 1st full-length album, ALLOW IT Rock and roll, in June of this year.
