The Connection

Play, film, recording. Both a play which starred jazz pianist Freddie Redd and an recording featuring music linked to same creation. Redd was associated with both. He had written the music for the play, that was written by Jack port Gelber and made an appearance in the brand new York and Western stage productions from it from 1959 to 1961. Redd also performed on soundtrack for film edition.
