The Class of ’98

The Course of ’98 formed in 2004, six years after singer/guitarist Steve Wilson moved to Nashville to pursue music full-time. He previously been composing and recording within a self-made studio room before conference Nick Baumhardt (electric guitar), Colby Pitts (drums), and Ben Harms (bass). In addition they had been transplants to the united states music capital, and in them, Wilson discovered a common like of music. Once collectively, the bandmembers — who incidentally didn’t graduate in 1998 — started crafting their make of melodic indie pop/rock and roll such as Jimmy Eat Globe and Braid. They performed anywhere around city that would ask them to, building a faithful following on the way. Documented in under three weeks, their Militia Group debut, Contact This and Die!, made an appearance in January 2006.
