The Cicadas

The country-rock music group the Cicadas was a part task of acclaimed singer/songwriter Rodney Crowell in little league with frequent collaborators Vince Santoro, Michael Rhodes and Steuart Smith. The group 1st took shape dating back to 1986, when Crowell enlisted Santoro like a drummer for any single tour; as the tour advanced, Santoro began performing a couple of songs per display, and even though Crowell continuing on like a single performer, the thought of developing a music group with Santoro trapped with him. Bassist Rhodes and guitarist Smith joined the picture immediately after, and even though the four music artists worked together frequently, the Cicadas didn’t officially type until 1996. Their self-titled debut adopted the next 12 months.
