The Castaways

Produced in Richfield, Minnesota, USA, in 1962 using the express reason for playing in a fraternity get together, the Castaways produced one appearance on the united states graphs in 1965 with ‘Liar, Liar’, a ‘garage-rock’ gem proclaimed by overbearing organ and heavily echoed vocals. Roy Hensley (electric guitar), Denny Craswell (drums) and Dick Roby (bass) originated the music group, with Bob Folschow (electric guitar) and Jim Donna (keyboards) completing the line-up. Their just strike was also their initial single, documented for the neighborhood Soma label that was designed to gain the music group an improved footing that to market itself to regional membership owners. They documented other singles but non-e charted. Denny Craswell still left the music group to become listed on Crow in 1970, as the staying four members continuing to perform jointly in subsequent years. On the other hand, ‘Liar, Liar’ continues to be well-known, having received a lift in 1987 via positioning in the film HELLO Vietnam.
