The Cansecos

The Cansecos are an indie electronic group from Toronto, Ontario, who produced their full-length album debut in 2002 in colaboration with the Upper Course Recordings label. Comprised chiefly of composing/creation duo Costs Halliday (aka Billionaire) and Gareth Jones (aka Large G), the group also matters Paul Prince (bass) and Dan McCormick (drums) among its lineup. The Cansecos produced their full-length debut in 2002 with an eponymous record released on Top Course Recordings, a Toronto-based indie label co-managed by Jones. Five years afterwards they released their second record, Juices! (2007), which features the favorite music “Elevated by Wolves.” Different remixes from the music had been released digitally. In 2008 the Cansecos released a few bootleg albums digitally: Juiced!, a disco mash-up edition of their second recording, and Showers (2008), a disco blend. Furthermore, the group was used to remix Sally Shapiro’s “Keep Me Therefore Tight” as well as the Black Children’ “Hurricane Jane,” among additional songs.
