The Camdens

The Camdens formed in 1996 when Uk singer Katy Vernon and guitarist Scott Walker happened to bump into one another in Minneapolis of most places. The duo started playing in espresso shops around Minneapolis almost instantly thereafter, penning a lot more than 25 unique compositions along the way. By past due 1998, the duo wanted to broaden their audio, and welcomed bassist Brad Konkel and drummer Tom Henderson up to speed. A year later on, the brand new lineup was starting for such renowned performers as Shawn Mullins, Graham Parker, and Dave Pirner of Spirit Asylum’s O’Jeez (including an area at the Flavor of Minnesota event, playing to over 2000 participants). January of 2000 noticed the discharge from the Camdens’ debut recording, Halfway All over the world, accompanied by the group’s 1st lineup switch, when drummer Henderson was changed by John Seals. The Camdens backed their debut launch with live times starting for Leona Naess.
