The Bygones

A side project of king collaborator/drummer extraordinaire Zach Hill (Hella, Marnie Stern, Un Grupo Nuevo, the Females, Team Rest, Holy Smokes, Wavves, etc.) and electric guitar virtuoso Nick Reinhart of Tera Melos, Bygones found fruition in Sacramento, CA. With an identical audio as Hill’s single debut, Astrological Straits, Bygones’ debut was a blur of spastic mathematics rock and roll and warbly pop vocal melodies released by Sargent Home on June 23 of 2009. Merely entitled By-, the record was released on Compact disc and vinyl fabric, and pictured the Dirty Projectors’ Amber Coffman consuming a sloopy joe in the cover.
