The Buccaneers

The Buccaneers were a Philadelphia-based quartet comprising Ernest “Sonny” Smith, Richard Gregory, Julius Robinson, and Donald Marshall. They primarily documented on the Southern and Rainbow brands (“Dear Ruth” b/w “Good Brown Framework”) and lower two singles (“The Celebrities Will Keep in mind,” “Objective of St. Augustine”) for George Goldner’s Rama label in the centre and later on section of 1953. Julius Robinson was later on a member from the Metronomes.
