The Brandywine Singers

From 1962 through 1965 the Brandywine Singers were among the hottest acts on the faculty folk circuit. After that lifestyle, the Vietnam Battle, and other professions intervened. The Brandywines re-formed in 1992 with unique people Rick and Ron Shaw and Les Clark became a member of by multi-talented multi-instrumentalist Taylor Whiteside. The effect was natural magic, folk music as you appreciated it from its well-known heyday but still able to send out chills along one’s backbone: folk favorites, attractively sung, performed, and organized, spiced with several originals.
