The Bon Savants

Without support from an archive label, the Bon Savants were able to create a wholesome buzz around themselves and protected starting slots with such indie rock favorites as Very Girls Make Graves, Rogue Wave, and Editors, while self-releasing a debut record in past due 2006. Led by vocalist/guitarist Thom Moran (a part-time rocket scientist at MIT), the seedling from the music group started in the middle-’90s, when guitarist Kevin Haley and Moran had been temporarily surviving in Frankfurt, Germany. In 1997, both were back america and began documenting songs influenced by technology and surviving in Germany following the end from the Chilly Battle. Finally by 2003 they added bassist Dave Wessel, dubbed themselves the Bon Savants (French for “great researchers”), and with revolving drummers performed the Boston region. Andy Dole became a member of as long term drummer in 2005. The band’s debut record, Post Rock and roll Defends the country, was self-released in November 2006 and combined by Expenses Racine (Rogue Influx, Phantom World, the Flaming Lip area).
