The Bodines

Because of Alan McGee’s focus on driving Primal Scream through the mid-’80s for his Creation label, the Bodines probably shed out on a number of the interest they justly deserved within their beginning. Because of this, the Manchester, Britain, group still left the label for the greener pastures of Magnet after three singles (“God Bless,” “Therese” — that was featured in the NME’s infamous C86 compilation — and “Noticed EVERYTHING”) released between 1985 and 1986. While on Magnet, the Bodines released the full-length Performed and another couple of singles in 1987. By the finish from the 10 years, the band acquired dissolved; they had taken their bow with an individual for Play Hard. The group contains guitarist Paul Brotherton, bassist Tim Burwood, drummer John Rowlands, and guitarist/vocalist Michael Ryan.
