The Blue Guys were Jim Reeves’ road band with different times had various personnel. Originally, Reeves known as his music group the Wagon Experts, but in order to avoid dilemma in Nashville with Porter Wagoner, he renamed it in 1958, after his strike ‘Blue Boy’.
