The Bled

Inspired by teams like Refused as well as the Mars Volta, Tucson-based post-hardcore quintet the Bled burst onto the nationwide scene making use of their 2005 Vagrant debut, Within the Overflow. By that time the band’s lineup presented vocalist Wayne Muñoz, guitarists Ross Ott and Jeremy Talley, along with a rhythm portion of Darren Simoes (bass) and Mike Pedicone (drums), though like the majority of rings they’d endured some lineup adjustments before. Before the Vagrant offer, the Bled have been on Fiddler, where they released the 2003 recording Move the Flask. That recording, however, eventually dropped out of printing and became difficult to find, prompting Vagrant to reissue it in March 2007 with extra bonus monitors (including cuts in the Bled’s first EPs).
