After helping introduce the influence of melodic Uk metal bands like Judas Priest and Iron Maiden, vocalist/bassist Taneli Jarva remaining the Finnish underground metal band Sentenced following their 1995 album and EP. Having previously experienced the death metallic clothing Impaled Nazarene, Jarva approached previous bandmate Sir K Luttinen (drums/keyboards), after that with Legenda, and both decided to type a new music group together beneath the name the Dark League. It got 3 years for the rest from the lineup to consider shape, offering guitarists Maike Valanne and Alexi Ranta and bassist Florida. Therefore constituted, the music group authorized with Spinefarm, and in Dec 1999, they started documenting their debut recording. Certified by Nuclear Blast for launch within the U.S., Ichor made an appearance in nov 2000.
