The Berzerker

The Berzerker unleashes intense, death-grind metal music that thrashes everything in its path with a variety of industrial, noise, and unstoppably heavy riffs. The misanthropic Australian music group that prefers to stay shrouded in secret and beneath mutant masks started as a studio room solo task in Melbourne in 1995. In 1998, the Berzerker authorized with Earache Information and in 2000 they released their monstrous, self-titled debut. The band’s 1st video, for the monitor “Actuality,” was prohibited by MTV because of its horrific and epilepsy-inducing imagery. After touring america with Dying Fetus, Gorguts, and Skinless, the Berzerker proceeded to go into the studio room to record their follow-up. Dissimulate, a lot more intense than their 1st album, premiered in 2002. Having a cover of Carcass’ “Corporal Jigsore Quandary,” the record demonstrated the Berzerker to be always a frightening power in the wonderful world of metal, quickly outdoing Gwar at their very own video game while playing theoretically gifted music and staying serious enough to become downright scary.
