The Bennies

Originally formed in ’09 2009 beneath the name Madonna, Melbourne natives Anty Horgan (vocals, keyboards), Craig Selak (bass), David Beaumont (drums), and Julien Rozenbergs (guitar) opted to improve their name a couple of years afterwards in 2011 towards the Bennies. Currently a company fixture from the Australian punk underground and popular because of their raucous concert events, the four-piece shipped their first genuine full-length record, Party!, Party!, Party!, in 2011 for regional label Jackknife. A variety of ska, punk, and psychedelic rock and roll, the record also signified the band’s penchant for consuming, medications, and partying. After an extended tour of Australia, the music group released the 7″ solitary Better Off Dread in middle-2013, right before announcing that they had authorized to Poison Town Information. That November, the label released their second recording, Rainbows in Space, as the group also going to Japan and China to try out select times. 2014 noticed the Bennies launch the single Large Disco, while spending the majority of their period on the highway playing times alongside Deceased Kennedys, NOFX, and fellow Melbourners the Smith Road Band. At the start of 2016, the music group announced the discharge of their third full-length, Knowledge Machine, while once more moving out on tour across Australia and into European countries to get the release.
